Kamau is one of the newest and most innovative voices to emerge on the Hawaiian music scene. Their debut release, Live from the Lo`i, combines melodic bass lines and sweet harmony vocals together with powerful lyrics, skilled acoustic guitar work and timely percussion to create a sound unlike any other. It offers an insight into the mind of a young Hawaiian as well as a glimpse of some of the larger issues being experienced by Hawai`i’s population.
